· The highest-placed New Zealand player shall be the 2026 New Zealand Women’s Chess Champion.
· The outright winner (if applicable) will be offered the official NZL place at the Oceania Women’s Zonal in Christchurch in January 2027 (must be an NZL FIDE-registered player).

Half-point byes are available in Round 1 only. Please inform the organiser at the time of registration.
Donations to the Women’s Championship can be made to the Club directly.
WIM Entry Free: One (1) free entry is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the organiser.

Entries, pairings, and results will be available as on the NZCF website at www.newzealandchess.co.nz and ACCC website www.aucklandcentralchessclub.nz.
Rating:
The tournament will be NZCF-rated and FIDE-rated. NZCF standard ratings will be used for pairings and prizes. Where players do not have a published NZCF or FIDE standard rating, the Chief Arbiter may assign a rating at their discretion.
Note:
· All players (foreign players excluded) must be members of the New Zealand Chess Federation. See www.newzealandchess.co.nz for further details on how to become an NZCF Member.
· Foreign players must have a FIDE ID prior to entering. NZ players without a FIDE ID will be assigned one by FIDE (date of birth required).
