This is the official NZCF regional qualifying interschool competition for Nelson-Tasman, and Marlborough (regions are the same as for the local councils – Kaikoura is part of Canterbury for these competitions).
The highest-placed team from Nelson-Tasman qualifies for the national finals in Christchurch at the end of term 3, and likewise for the highest-placed team from Marlborough.

Eligibility
School teams of 4 + 1 optional reserve. All players in a team must be from the same school and in years 1-6. Teams of home-schooled or correspondence school students are also welcome as long as they all live in Nelson-Tasman, or Marlborough.
